What is a Serving?

   8oz piece of meat

   1 medium size piece of fruit (Apple, Orange , Banana)

   ½ cup of cut up fresh fruit or canned fruit

   ¾ cup of fruit or vegetable juice

   ¼ cup dried fruit (Raisins, Prunes, Apricots)

   1 cup of leafy greens (Lettuce, Spinach)

   ½ cup raw, cooked, or canned vegetables

   ½ cup cooked or canned beans, peas, or lentils
